What Does Tithing Do?

  1. It makes the Conscience tender
  2. It is a safeguard against stinginess
  3. It is a wonderful stimulant to Faith
  4. It strengthens obedience in all other lines
  5. It makes us appreciate the other nine-tenths more
  6. It brings light to the mind on all other subjects
  7. It is regular, dependable, and not Spasmodic
  8. It gives us sweet access to God in prayer and devotion
  9. It makes benevolence a fixed affection in the soul
  10. It makes God’s special providence much more real to us
