Deuteronomy 30:19-20 New King James Version (NKJV)
19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”
From Sister Rita,
“We need to consider that even God’s patience can be taxed. As He told Moses in Deuteronomy, he tells us, I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life. He expects us to be active in how we live our lives and how we choose.
Choose to live, listen to God, listen to His voice, and hold fast to him, for the Lord is your life!
Dear Lord, may we learn to listen to your voice, make right decisions not only for us, but for our families. Help us to be satisfied with enough and not fore more than we need, give us wisdom in your Word, show us the way that we should live, Amen.”
Love & Prayers,
Sister Rita
